Just read this. Fantastic gothic horror comic. Recommendation seconded.

I've been picking up Fatale as it comes out and got hooked on Brubaker's noir style writing. Ended up getting both Incognito trades, and would even read his Captain America, despite not being a huge fan of super heroes.

Also, Saga by Brian K Vaughan is superb. The first trade came out last week I think it was. Would recommend picking it up and getting caught up before the hiatus ends.
Incognito's great. Will have to check out your other recs.

I just finished a manga entitled No Longer Human. I don't know if you would call it "horror" but it does have some pretty horrific scenes in it.

Getting ready to dive into The Walking Dead, Volume 17. Should be good reading and will keep me ready for the return of the tv show on Feb. 10th!

Saga, Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples

Very excellent and well-written scifi. Thanks to MissMacabre for the rec. Can't wait for the next volume.

A manga by the name of Shin Gendai Ryoukiden (Modern Stories of the Bizarre) by Uziga Waita. Its a collection of various stories, all of which contain extreme violence and sex. Highly recommended to anyone who can handle what most would consider "seriously fucked up shit".

American Vampire Vol. 3

I really need to get bookshelves so that I can finally unpack my books... I read this - and quite enjoyed it - but it's been a while since I've read the first two volumes that I think it's probably best to read them all in succession. I thought it was very very good, but I didn't connect with it as much as the earlier volumes, though I love how pulpy it was.

Scarlet, Book 1

Very very good. I need to stop finding comics with only one volume, though. Makes me want more. Wonder where Bendis considers this in terms of comic-writing priority.

I don't have many horror graphic novels but something I'm reading right now is the hellraiser series. I've read Neonomicon by Alan Moore and Curssed. The Curssed wasn't so good in my opinion. 30 days of Night the X-files addition was pretty good. Any good horror graphic novels anyone can recommend. I love a good story. Anyone ever red the great and secret by Clive Barker. It was originally a book that got turned into a graphic novel ? Pretty good read I would so recommend it.
