Just watched Straw Dogs...I heard this movie is pretty intense, and i must agree...Can't picture Dustin Hoffman in that kind of role, which is why it probaly worked for me...good movie and crazy in the last half hour

I was debating going to see that. I kept putting it off and now thier not showing it anymore, around here anyway. Hate that I missed it now. Sucks to be me. Ill catch it on dvd though.

I'm sorry, but that was pathetic. I can't believe that is a Rodriguez film. Desperado and Once Upon* were so many times better than that... I hated it. C-

I understand not thinking it was awesome, because it ain't, but it is an important film. I just watched Black Book Paul Verhoeven's Dutch language WWII themed flick is a gem. And excellently complicated tale with relentless action, tension, tragedy, sex and actual (and unexpected) romance. Some of Verhoeven's best work, and I say that as a fan. The Acting is top-notch. The more I contemplate it, the more I like it. 9/10
