The Omen (2006)
wasnt going to see it until i heard that David Thewlis was in it. its a well made film .. some miscasting ... (styles was an odd choice) and again - they go with actors that are too young. (except thewlis) still pointless .. the origional was far more powerful.

One of my all time favorite movies. I could watch this one every week. Great cast, great music, a true classic.

Saw 3. Meh. I really didn't like this one as much as the first two. I'm not exactly sure why, but something about it just didn't work for me. It seemed like they were putting all the focus on making the traps as outrageous as possible and the story and characters kind of fell by the wayside. The movie recovered from this quite a bit in the final third or so, but it still didn't measure up for me.
Rest Stop. Blech. I don't really have a whole lot to say about this one. It started off fairly decent and rapidly descended into absurdity. Not very good at all.
