BIGFOOT: THE LOST COAST TAPES 2012

A found footage documentary on possible evidence of Bigfoot. Not terrible. I wanted to watch it til the end.

Angra would term this film as "extremely disturbing", so recommended to him.

I hated that movie. Most of all Phoenix character.

"The Frozen Ground" 7-8/10

The police department really annoyed me, but not quite as much as Vanessa Hudgens did. I guess nobody really wanted to help Nic Cage solving this crime.

FROM HELL (2001). Very well made and probably my favorite Jack The Ripper film. The Hughes brothers really did their research as Whitechapel in the film looks as grungy and seedy as it probably did in 1888. Good performances even though Heather Graham looks far too clean and wholesome to be playing a destitute streetwalker. ****1/2

Bingo! Knew I was spot-on with my recommendation.

Shut it off after 15 minutes. Maybe another day.

Something about these 90s films which makes them very charming. In this case, it's the gorgeous Julia. Love her smile!

Impressive. Very impressive. Watch out for plenty of delightful cameos, none more so than Will Smith and Jennifer Connelly.

Recommended.

HOWLS 2011

Pretty good low-budget film about two friends forced to spend a night in the forest after getting lost. Its very laid back and somewhat comical at first, but in my view..when it gets dark, really, really dark, things get scary!

Hatchet III -

I liked the first Hatchet. I had very few problems with it if I remember correctly. I didn't like part 2 as much. I can't remember why. Part 3 is about equal to part 2. It's just not as fresh as the original.

The Hitcher (Remake) -

I want to watch the original again. There is a twist in this movie that I can't remember in the original. But I think this is the best of the remakes from that studio. They all have the same look to them. And at times the same feel. I thought I was in for another crap movie. They even throw in the usual redneck character which they almost implied was messing around with his donkey. But Sean Bean makes this a movie worth checking out. He plays a good crazy man.

The actress who plays the perfect college girl in the movie is hot too. I've never seen her in anything before.

Transcendence
Starts out quite good but goes downhill after a while.
Had more potential because it was well made and the cast did a good job.
