I went and saw it a couple nights ago and I think it was far better than the remake and had much more killing and gore.
I agree it had many "gotcha" moments, and I never jump in movies, but this one "gotme" a few times. I thought his first real mask was pretty good considering he just put it right on and didn't even wash it LOL. All in all I was not disappointed.

For everyone who didn't like this movie.
WHAT WERE YOU EXPECTING OR WANTING? Its a slasher movie, theres not much to these kinds of movies.

I would have at least liked as much creepiness as i feel when i clean my toilet.
