A Nightmare on Elm Street
my take on the series is this:
one~ was brilliant. an amazing and unique idea that was scary! it was mind blowing at the time and obviously has staying power. very good! two~ the most under rated of the series IMO. extremely dark and different from the other freddy movies, much like halloween 3 is to that series. not given the recognition it deserves. we really start to see freddy show his bad self in this flick. good movie! three~ probably my favorite one. there's something unique and really good about this picture. nancy was in it of course and this is where we really start to see fred's funny side. a lot of emotion in this one. very good!! four~ is about as far as i would go in the series and is the last one i own. decent movie. we get to see freddy evolve but it's lacking some key players-i wish patricia arquette would've come back for this one, but a decent film none the less.
