I didn't realise Frontier(s) was part of the series.

I loved Borderland..

Other than SA, I've only seen Husk & Prowl. Both are typical average AfterDark features...didn't like them.
I think i was just expecting more but i guess that's my fault though.

Yeah it was an extra one that they couldnt show at the festival. They released it on DVD later on.

Never expects anything great or better from AfterDark films...only then some of them may able to please you in some level of entertainment. I keep it in mind and it works! :D

Yeah thats probably a good idea. Usually i try to keep from getting high expectations whenever i watch a horror movie and usually im able to but there are certain times when i get excited and then disappointed in the end.

I saw these films in the theater (yup, 2 day run in a cinema in Cambridge, MA) and my opinions:

Fertile Ground - good ghost story. Slow at points but well acted and decent little flick. Good exploitation too (boobs!)
Husk - not so good. Good idea but horrible execution and the characters didn't act like normal folks would when things happen. I'd pass.
Task - slow flick with nice twists though. Nice location for the film (old prison). Just was okay though. Maybe worth a viewing but nothing great.
Seconds Apart - great film. Well acted. Good plot. Cool ending (even though the ending was the weakest part but still good).

Prowl - saw this one on DVD. Pretty good take on the vampires. Worth a viewing.

Thanks for your rec of Gravedancers I really enjoyed that. I didn't like Autopsy as it was too straightdforward and didn't offer anything exciting. I agree with everyone about Reincarnation and Borderland being great. I look forward to seeing Dread, Voices and Frontier(s) which I haven't yet-cheers.
