Helix - Made it through the first episode and about half of the second. Truly bad. It's getting to the point that when I see the words "A Sci-Fi Channel Original" I'm just going to stop and watch something else.

Stranger Things - watched episode one. seems over rated. Wow, a secret underground research lab. Something escaped? How original. Does it get better?

You're the first person I've seen that wasn't impressed with Stranger Things. Personally, I thought it was excellent.

Dead of Summer (first three episodes) -

I saw the trailer and it looked interesting. It's on this Freezone or something network which I've never heard of before. From the first episode, I didn't get what they were trying to do. It was like, let's make a 80s horror slasher setup but not completely ripoff it, which they did anyway. So I watched the second and third episodes. I'm still not sure what they are trying to do. It's not really scary. Tony Todd is in it and I'm waiting for him to do something scary. The characters are all passable. No one is really unlikable. The pretty actress from Lost and that bad V TV remake is in it. She might have something going on. But so far, this seems like the sort of show that you watch a few episodes a night when it's complete during the month of October. As the cliffhangers are no where near as good as in shows like Lost or 24.

Yeah the plot and character twists in the last Hunters episode made zero sense to me. I put the books on my list to read one day. Maybe I'll get to them. From what I read on the website, the books are a bit different and go more into the main character's background. Which was hinted at in the last episode.

I heard Penny Dreadful was cancelled. I watched the first episode a long time ago and it was so good that I added it to my list to watch when complete. Sounds like that was another unexpectedly cancelled show.

I won't say much about it - but I'd strongly recommend you guys take a look.
Very authentic throwback. Bits and pieces for everyone.
Watch it, Ok.
I watched the trailer and it didn't seem that interesting to me. Perhaps give a full review when more episodes come out?

Binge watched the new season (10) of the X-Files. Wow, is it bad. The scripts are fan fiction, and not the good kind of fan fiction. I've been meaning to watch the series again from the beginning, but this really slowed that idea down.

Hell On Wheels
Finished the final season of this fine western drama.
Now if only they'd bring back Deadwood.

I thought about half were quite good. The other half just ok or meh.
Still better than most stuff on tv.

But, of course! I remember running home from school so I could watch it!
