Well, not bad, but I wouldn't rate it as a very good movie. I'm not a big fan of these Japanese horror flicks.
I have a hard time to get into it, the background and the characters are kinda too different from our everyday life.

Great movie. Its been a long time since I've had goosebumps watching a horror movie, but this one delivered big time.
It got me so interested in japanese horror ,that I bought 2 more movies over the weekend. "Versus" and "JU-ON , The Grudge".

Pass. It started out strong but I didn't feel like it delivered.

I do find some Japanese horror to be very good and engaging - I identified a little too much with the mother in Dark Water, from a parent's perspective.

SPOILER AHEAD

The Eye was too much like the Sixth Sense for me.

I think the movie was great, and in general most japanies movies are. Have to agree with your spoiler though, but it didn't ruin the movie at all.

It wasnt BAD i thought, but ive seen much better, especially from japanese horror.

Started off strong but ran out of breath after about the first half. And it was hard not to feel like you were watching the sixth sense, although the eye is a much more well made film i would say.

i loved the EYE but i agree the second half was weak, JU-ON is my most recent favorite, i think some of the best modern films are coming out of asia right now....most of them are being remade and hopefully they wont suck.
