Aftermath - Genesis

Anyone seen this yet?

It's actually two movies, it looks pretty fucked up...

I plan on ordering it soon...

I just watched this disc the other day. It is fucked up! The corpses in Aftermath are very realistic and the gore is great...the necrophillia is not so great. As for the other two shorts, Awakening is kinda lame but Genesis was pretty good.

I had been waiting to see Aftermath for quite a while after reading about it. Everything I read made it sound like the most sickening thing ever put on film. So needless to say my imagination went wild and when I actually saw it I was a bit disapointed. Still worth checking out though.

I just read in the new issue of Rue Morgue that Aftermath Genesis is pretty much not going to be sold by most U.S. retail places like Best Buy etc..etc....It said it was too violent... while the same retailers carry some of the other violent titles from the same people that put out Aftermath...

Oh well guess there's always ebay...

I think it's really amusing that Best Buy will carry the Guinea Pig box, but not Aftermath. It should be said that I haven't seen Aftermath (yet) but I can't imagine that it would have anything worse than Flower of Flesh and Blood or Devil's Experiment. If so, that has to be one hell of a brutal movie.
