More school shootings today means more available parking spots tomorrow. We might have to start a club of some sort.

I didnt even bother watching the remake of Fright Night, after seeing MTV got ahold of it and put colin farrell in it I knew it was hopeless.

Deadly Blessing (1981)-Not seen this Wes Craven film before but I did enjoy it. I suppose it was pretty much put everything in it including the kitchen sink, it's experimental but part slasher, part mystery, part supernatural horror. A lot to take in but worth the effort. May be a bit flawed and could have been paced better but definitely recommended.

Shame - 8/10

What a powerful drama. There was a very uncomfortable atmosphere throughout; you know the kind you get in a movie when you feel something bad is building.

Masterfully shot with not much in the way of story telling. It was a semi-pornographic piece of art that exists purely to embody the raw emotion of shame and how it affected the two protagonists.

In the best way, it's a real thought provoker. I highly recommend it. One last thing; do you think that Steve McQueen (not the dead one, you smart ass!) had watched Irreversible at any point?

Saw White Noise last night, not usually freaked out by paranormal movies but this one made me struggle to sleep afterwards. Tempted to watch the second but not sure if it'll be good, especially since Keaton isn't in it.

watched the masters of horror d.a. coscerelli-directed adaptation of joe lansdale's incredible incident on and off a mountain road. i quite liked it. the narrative was nice--women surviving a psycho-killer in the woods while reflecting upon her relationship with her over-the-top survivalist husband. angus scrimm (of course) shows up, and the direction is taut, thoughtful, and merciless. the lead, bree turner, is excellent. she is tough as nails, and quick on her feat. really dug this.

Phase 7.

Argentine movie, pretty good. Starts off almost like Quarantine. Anyway, I recommend it, and so does most of Netflix since it's rated for like 5 stars.
