Damn...The Thing vs. Alien? That's a tough one...
Both were creepy as hell and made an imapct on me when I first saw them, but I must give the nod to Alien...That Gieger inspired shit was just too crazy.

In one of the narrowest of margins, a phenomenal movie surges ahead by 1 vote to win against another equally phenomenal flick!! WINNER OF THE BIG SPACE OF HORRORS TOURNAMENT In Space... No One Can Hear You Scream... ALIEN which beat John Carpenter's awesome cult classic THE THING in the narrowest of margins, winning 9-8!! We had a predict-the-winner contest in PMs to me in the middle of the tourney. Lets see who predicted which movie would win, and how many predictions were correct in the end. The winner(s) would get a chance to suggest my next tournament in a separate PM, and submit their choices of movies which they think should be included in that tournament.
