Shannon McDonough added to the Madison Horror Film Festival



Shannon McDonough began dance lessons when she was practically still in diapers. She discovered theatre in high school and quickly got into plays and theatre classes. She has since played many roles including: Corie Bratter (Barefoot in the Park), Mollie Ralston (The Mousetrap), Jacqueline de Severac (Murder on the Nile) and Elvira (Blithe Spirit). Shannon branched into film and has since played in such leading roles as Dr. Stephanie Hacket in Attack of the Moon Zombies and Zita Marzchek in The Giant Spider (www.sainteuphoria.com), Lindsey in Thieves Like Us (JC Films), Marnie Reese in Potpourri (www.restraininghollywood.com), Rebecca Darling in Bloodshed Love (Mason Makram). Shannon has done several commercials as well, including Car Soup, Buffalo Wild Wings and the 2006 1st Place Grainbelt Beer commercial (Wingman's MVP). She also backup sings for Elvis impersonator Anthony Shore.

The Madison Horror Film Festival is proud to announce the addition of a few more guests for this year�s event and a benefit event to support the Dane County Humane Society.. The festival; which showcases short and feature films in the horror genre from around the world will be hosted by Freakshow and Sin-D Vicious from the local Madison, WI late night horror television show �Bordello of Horror�. In its 4th year running, the festival will take place on Saturday November 3rd and Sunday November 4th, 2012. The independent film screenings and celebrity Q&A�s will again be held at the Market Square Cinema located at 6604 Odana Road Madison, WI 53715 and will begin at 11am each day.

Celebrity film screenings and Q&A�s will take place both days. On Saturday we will be screening �The Hazing� with Tiffany Shepis and �Maniac Cop� with Robert Z�Dar. On Sunday the screenings will include �Little Creeps� with Robert Z�Dar and �The Frankenstein Syndrome� with Tiffany Shepis.

On Sunday in addition to the screenings, Mr. Mephisto, the late night host for Lenny�s Inferno which aired on Madison�s WMTV from 1970-1982 will be making his first Madison appearance in make up after 30 years. We will also be hosting and broadcasting live a cheese curd eating competition between Tiffany Shepis and film director Cory Udler. All proceeds from the �Curd Off� will go to the Dane County Humane Society.

Tickets for the festival are $13 adv. And $15 dos for a single day pass. Two day passes may be purchased for $18 adv. and $20 dos. Advance tickets will be available through October 31st at midnight. From now until October 31st, for any advance purchase of a two day pass, Madison Horror will donate $2 to the Dane County Humane Society.
