Nothing says Christmas like flesh eating zombies. I think I'll watch it to.

TV. TCM, methinks.

So I'm assuming you ended up getting the Hollywood Legends of Horror collection? Good quality?

I hope I get this one badly.

Given the age of the source material, the quality is excellent. Naturally there are film artefacts (Doctor X is nearly 75 years old!) but they are very watchable and some of the films are uncannily well presented.

Cool. I'm looking forward to it. What a great collection of films!

I have to admit that it easily surpassed my expectations. I am going to have to seek out more Lewton flicks.

Ive been starting to get into his work myself...rented and really enjoyed Seventh Victim not long ago, and got Cat People, Curse of the Cat People, The Body Snatcher and I Walked With A Zombie for Christmas.

From what Ive seen so far (7th Victim and the 2 Cat People flicks), he made some damn good stuff. The second Cat People wasnt so hot, but the other two were fantastic...definatly looking forward to the rest of his films:)
