Underground Recommendations

I'm visiting my friend from another state who is movie fanatic like me and were trying to find some good horror movies, preferably newer ones. We've seen the majority of mainstream movies so were looking for some that aren't as popular but are good. For example yesterday we rented Jack Brooks Monster Slayer and Behind the Mask: Leslie Vernon which we both enjoyed. We've been looking for some others but can't really find any. What are some newer movies that you would recommend?

Gutterballs is a good one if you're into trashy OTT kinda shit.

Midnight Meat Train was a decent watch especially if you liked flicks like Nightbreed.

Mordum is totally chilling and one of the best independent features in a long time.

Inside is a brilliant piece of genre film making, not sure if you're into forgein stuff but if you are check it out a long with the flick The Ordeal.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head because I don't have my movie collection in front of me.... bound to be forgetting something.

I hated Severance but I thought Creep was top notch.

Here's a few

- Wilderness
- Haute Tension
- Hatchet
- Murder Set Pieces
- The Witches Hammer

These are all low budget and far from main stream.
