... And it's in English, true.
I was mentally categrizing it with another one of his works I saw a few years ago, Szamanka? Which I think was in Polish and also mindblowing and another metaphor-filled portrait of a woman going off the rails as a result of an unhealthy relationship. Amazing musical score in that one too! |

Oh you really should, I saw it at a film festival that also showed Possession and another one of Zulawski's that's not horror, but in many ways horrific at any rate. Anyway, I think I was the only one in the audience who was thrilled rather than appalled at these screenings (one guy actually stormed out of Possession, yelling in anger, it was pretty funny.)
Hope you find it, I'd love to hear someone else's take. |

Black Past -- 3.5/10; I admire the effort Olaf, but it's a bit too home-video for my liking.

WEREWOLF WOMAN (1976). An offering on a 50 pack collection, sort of GINGER SNAPS before GINGER SNAPS which descends into I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE vibe.
Cheesy Italian flick has lots of gore and quite a bit of nudity, which can be a good thing, but the film is hard going and once is really enough. ** |
