saw munich on monday and was skeptical going in b/c of the mixed reviews, but went out really liking it... great direction, acting, character development, story, pacing. just an all-around great movie: 9/10.

Yeah Munich was quite good, a little overlong and historically inaccurate perhaps, but not offensively so (to me anyway).

Aliens was a great movie, but the original still scares me WAY more. Actually, it's so scary to me that it's still to that point of almost being unpleasant to watch, because afterwards I still have nightmares about being on that ship. Only in my dream I always say FUCK the cat and run into the lifeboat, which for some reason has blue plastic carpet in it like you find on boats...and I always look through the portal in the door and it's always on the other side staring back at me.....(shudder)

On a lighter note, I just got to watch Saturday the 14th for the first time in many years, and it's still pretty damn entertaining. Not only is my copy in PERFECT condition, the movie still made me laugh in my adult state....awesome....

Night Watch

Well I've been waiting a while for this to release so I was eager to check it out. I have to say I was impressed.... I think. I found the story to be fairly confusing and will certainly be rewtaching this again in the very near future. From what I gathered it was like a blend of X-Men, Matrix & Vampires with some pretty cool violence and a crazy storyline.

Normally I'd grade a movie right here, but I am going to reserve judgement until I watch it one more time. (And unfortunately it will be a while as I just returned it & will be out of town for the next week.) But once I do rewatch it, you guys will be the first to know.

If you're bored, why not ignite the religion thread in the general forum?

:)
