It seems "Stealth" is getting almost universally bad reviews! I've not read a good thing yet.

A Roger Corman stinker from the 60's, the tedious Sci-Fi slop called "THE LAST WOMAN ON EARTH"

After a long build-up of nothingness the Earth loses it's oxygen for a while and everyone suffocates except 3 boring people (2 men and 1 woman, hence the title) who were scuba diving at the time.

ONE good scene of a child's body, lying like she's asleep with her arm over her face, on the roadside which is rather creepy, otherwise it's one long arguement about the obvious moral and social problems the situation raises and a dull lust triangle sub-plot for the remaining 50 minutes or so.
Written by future "Chinatown" scribe Robert Towne of all people.
*SNOOZE*.

first let me explain : i told my kid we'd take him to see Fantastic 4 ... so i check the listings : not recommended for young children.

shit - what else is playing (i made him a promise)

see this movie Sky High is playing - i know nothing about it 'cept Kurt Russell is in it and he's a faforite actor. Rated G.

Best movie I've seen in ages .. funny as hell .. great lines, earnest performances and the best soundtrack of the year (in my opinion) - its mostly 80's music redone.

I'm sure 2/3 of the people here will hate it (no tits, no one dies or swears) but i thought it was a gas .. a really pleasant suprise..

oh, by the way - Bruce Campbell has a large supporting roll and he's funny as hell ..
so do 2 of the Kids in the Hall guys ...

I was thinking of taking my 2 rugrats to see this. I thought it may be a little too juvenile for me so I was going to bring a pillow.

But I feel you to be a good judge of films so.....

To stay on topic, a Canadian gem, My Bloody Valentine was on IFC last nite. I enjoyed. Havent seen it since my teens.
