There's a screener copy on a website I visit. I won't post it since I'm not sure about the rules here and movie sites and whatnot.

Anyway, the movie. Well, I could detract from all the negatives, which there are many of, and only speak on the positives. But there are none. In short: The zombies climb walls. Terrible film, I want to roll up a newspaper and slap the director and the writer on the nose.

Awesome flick...

Metropolis (1927)

This is only the second time I've seen this film- and it certainly will not be the last. The whole thing is a complete tour-de-force.

holy smokes, i love this film.

it's so visually stunning, and it features one of my favorite performances in cinema history- brigitte helm as the robot maria.

powell and pressburger's black narcissus (1947)

a pretty powerful look at a convent buried deep in the himalayas as they, along with the surrounding community, deal with heavy emotions and a bit of psychosis, all of which become mixed and increase, resulting in a climax that comes off over-the-top and even frightening. the film begins well and ends strongly, but the middle seems to sag a bit.

definitely worth a watch, though.

Holy shit! I was just telling my friend that that is one of my favorite performances. Period.

The fact that she goes from playing timid, innocent preacher to barbaric, looney robot is just mind-blowing...easily the most versatility any actor/actress had show thus far in cinema. Her jerky, sporadic movements are exquisite.

Rambo (2008)

I read all these reviews from people saying it was great and mindless and just exciting fun so I went in knowing it wasn't going to win any awards but it would be amazingly gory and fun and boy did it deliver. I loved every minute of it and the deaths were just DISGUSTING and I loved every minute of it.

8.5/10

couldn't have said it better myself.

au hasard balthazar
(1966)

comes off simple, but is truly very thick.
touching story of the lives of a donkey and his first owner, and the parallels between them.
