I liked the 1979 version fine when I saw it in the theatres. It's pretty. If I had to choose between the two versions, though, I would choose the original. I remember a friend of mine didn't know how to pronounce it and he called it "Nahfestro"!

Toxie 2 is pretty cool. Not as good as the original but better than the third entry. I haven't tracked down Citizen Toxie yet but I've heard its equally as great as the original. I picked up the majority of the comic book series Marvel brought out in 1991 last week. Its worth a read if you're a fan of the series.... a lot more PG rated than the movies but it stays pretty true to the original vision and doesn't take the Toxic Crusaders path.

....on a side note Troma have the most annoyingly shit DVD extras!

ya all my freinds loved it too. one of the funniest horror films ever made in my opinion. there's nothing more cool that a big messed up dude shoving a mop into the faces of the people he just killed.

Just orderd the 4th one i cant wait.
