I just don't see the point of it? The franchise has been born, beat to death, reborn in a decent manner and now bought out again?
That's the problem with Hollywood. Too much money, not enough ideas. How about spending that money on hiring a good script writer and starting an entirely new franchise?

What I'd love to see a reboot of is Halloween 3. That was a great premise, but the execution was a little weak.

I can only guess that since Rob Zombie gave Myers a full back story that in Bay's version we'll see Myers loaded up on drugs as an explanation for his ability to survive knife and gun shot wounds.

I liked Zombie's first remake, I didnt' care too much for his version of H2. Actually I thought it was pretty stupid.
God knows what Michael Bay will do with it.

Yeah the second one was pretty lame unless you enjoyed hearing that girl scream for 75% of the film.
