I haven't seen Near Dark in years, though when I was tiny I remember some dudes were watching it in the gas station where I bought my jolly ranchers, I saw the part where they were trying to run down the vampire in a semi, and he was spitting blood. Warped my little mind.

I saw it when I was older, the scene where the guy is running through the desert as the sun is rising and he is smoking is just amazing cinematography. It is stuck in my head.

Thank you, Sam! You'll have to tell us what you think of the film.

The smoking and burning jackets did look really sharp.

I love Near dark, such a great take on Vampirism. Watched this again about a year ago and suddenly realised that Caleb was played by Adrian Pasdar from heroes.

Actually think it's Hudson, not Hicks!
My wife likes this better than I do, but not a bad little film and lots of Cameron/Bigelow actors.

Don Coscarelli's Survival Quest was a pretty good Aliens reunion too.

I remember owning a 2-disc special edition of Near Dark in the past; it was lost somewhere in one my moves.

It was a shame, I really enjoy that movie.

I should look into grabbing it sometime soon...
