Movie help

there was this movie i saw way back in the day im gonna say late 80's early 90's it had a weird story where this family found this town were the only food that was sold was milk and eggs and they would eat people who came to this town at the end the little boy eats a bolagna sandwich to stop them from eating him lol ( sounds great dont it) anyway does anybody know the name of this flick and no its not the gate

Thats true a lot of times. Last year I was all excited ....I picked up The Jerk on DVD....told my kids what a funny movie it was...planned a fun movie night.....not a laugh was to be had. It just wasn't funny.
