I believe that as long as the avatar size fits in the space provided (or should I say left after having a 100x100 avatar) it should be O.K. to use. Just look at the free space I have. We could all have a nicer 150x150 image. But I wouldn't make the file size any bigger. This site is very big, lots of members and topics. And that takes up a lot of space. So having big avatars could become a problem.

I think Horror should delete ALL the members who havn't been here in a years time, at least. Then delete ALL Topics, unless they are important. That will clear up a huge hunk of space and he could allow bigger avatars and such then.
