The Forest... Dun Dun Dun Dun!!

I went to Hollywood Video yesterday looking for some horror movies I have never seen before. I found one that sounded decent, and I loved the setting for the movie, which is the title I might add.

Here's the plot: Four friends go deep into the woods for a camping trip, but their trip becomes a nightmare when one by one they are each attacked by a murderous cannibalistic hermit who wants nothing more than their flesh to use as food. But helping the four people from this crazed man are the ghostly visions of two children of the hermit. Will the four friends make it out alive?

Okay, that's pretty much the main idea of the story. That back of the case made it sound much more interesting, so sorry if this doesn't fit your needs. But now that the plot is over with, I can get on with the quality of the movie. This was a good idea for a horror movie, but they failed on making it even halfway decent. This movie blew. It had bad lighting, horrible acting from three of the main characters, and chliches out the butthole. The only thing I did like about this movie was the setting and violence, but it still wasn't enough to make this movie decent.

So if any of you see this movie at your local video store, seriously think about what you're getting yourself into. This is all in my opinion, so you may end up enjoying it. I however didn't.

The Forest sucks. The video box is very, very green. Much like puke, of whick the movie kinda reminds me.

I like the box cover ... But yes this movie is not all that great.. the chase scene with the old man after the girl was just funny as hell.. if that girl couldnt out run that man then she deserved to die... pathetic
