Sick Nurses

There are some great laughable parts, but the underlying story that you learn more tends the end is what got me more interested. It's graphic, but at teh same time, like it was said before, some of those graphics are just plain bad, while others are great. Also towards the end the deaths are being monitored by the security cameras, which is kind of fun to watch some of the things happen as if they were self inflicted. The begining was horrible slow though. :D

I'm bumping this thread - Maybe we'll get more action in the Asian Horror forum. :)

But ALSO, I want to know what Psycho D would recommend - you're always on the Last Asian Movie thread; what Asian horror movies are at the top of your list?

Let's discuss recommended/favorite Asian horror movies some more. I've fallen off the wagon a bit and need to get back on.

The Isle
Noriko's Dinner Table and Suicide Club
Oldboy series (Sympathy for Mr. V was my fav)

2LDK
The Eye 2
Gozu, Visitor Q, Izo, and Audition
Memories of Murder
Brotherhood of War
Sword of Doom and Kagemusha (stunning Samurai flicks)
Dorm
Re-Cycle
Versus
Reincarnation
Black House (Korean)
Battle Royale
Death Bell
Joint Security Area

lately I have seen some popular & new Asian films; among them I like to recommend the followings:

Cure (1997)...A slow burn serial killer mystery thriller.
Uzumaki (2000)...bizarre & beautiful.
Bunshinsaba (2004)...bit typical but fast paced entertainer.
The Wig (2005)...the surprisingly good thing about it was there's no usual Asian Ghost with long dark hair; nicely atmospheric.
Noroi The Curse (2005)...Best of recent times.
Muoi: Legend of a Portrait (2007)...already recommended.
Truck (2008)...a road thriller with twists & turns.
Voice Letter & A Blood Pledge from Whispering Corridors series.

Thank you SO much. I've seen some of those, but others have been on "my list" for a while and will have to be bumped up... The ones I haven't seen...
  • The Isle
  • Noriko's Dinner Table and Suicide Club
  • The Ring Series (of course)
  • 2LDK
  • The Eye 2
  • Brotherhood of War
  • Sword of Doom and Kagemusha (stunning Samurai flicks)
  • Dorm
  • Versus
  • Black House (Korean)
  • Death Bell

I'll definitely push those up the Netflix queue (I REALLY wish that they had Death Bell). Of the ones you've recommended and I have seen, I've loved most of them.

You and I definitely share a similar taste, so I'm excited to check these out - I haven' seen any of them. Thank you SO much for the recs. Definitely pushing them up the Netflix queue (well, the ones that they have anyway; Noroi and Muoi aren't there unfortunately).

Have you seen either of the Art of the Devil movies? Psycho D and I have, but I was wondering what your take was on them, Roshiq.

i forgot about Cure, which was, as stated, a little slow to get rolling but certainly worth the wait. Infection is another rather twisted one that i really did like. And be sure to make Neverending happy and see Zebraman ASAP if'n ya haven't already done so; it 'll be worth it... Ashe.

What's that one about the alien jellyfish floating in the rivers? Really enjoyed that one.
