dark endings
I love horror movies with dark or sad endings. When you watch them subsequently, you sort of get this odd feeling all along. Can you guys name your favorite endings?

Well some of these aren't horror but oh well....
28 Days Later, American psycho, Ravenous, Prince of Darkness, Halloween (those last shots are fantastic), A Clockwork Orange, Titus (masterpiece), Resevior Dogs, The Thing....im sure theres more but those are the ones i can see on my shelf...

the alternate ending i read about for the original dawn of the dead where peter shoots himself and the girl sticks her head in the chopper blades
also halloween part 4 and 2 and H20 (poor "Michael") i know in H20 it wasnt michael who died

28 days later wasnt really an sad ending. they did imply that they would be rescued, and that all of the infected would starve to death.
