Things vampires loathe
I'm doing this review on a vampire flick. Can you people list things vampires loath?
So far I have : Mirrors Holy water Fire (?) Sunlight Crosses Garlic If you know of something else to add to the list, even if you've rarely seen it, post it anyway! Thanks

I've heard they're afraid of silver, or at least they can be hurt by it. I think originally the metal that hurt them was iron, but as iron became more common it was changed to silver. Over the years the folklore surrounding vampires has been mixed up with the stories about ghosts and witches etc., so there's elements of all these things in there. So in some older stories they couldn't cross running water, similar to ghosts.
