Ouch!

I just read one of the harshest reviews I've seen in a while.

Meh I never got on board with the whole Paranormal Activity thing. With it being found footage I could have got the same feeling from watching ghost hunters or that dumb show that used to come on mtv where the people had selfie sticks taped to their heads with cameras on them. The whole series honestly looked like crap to me.

I'll watch it when it comes out on dvd. I usually never watch reviews on movies, I always like to watch movies to form my own opinions.

I'm going to see it regardless. Just not till I can watch it at home. Unfortunately it really does just seem like a lot of jump scares.

This guy/gal is trashing someone else's work? He/she can't even spell and he calls him/herself a writer??? I fucking hate critics.

I don't care for the PA franchise, but this writer had no credibility. Try to improve your own work before taking shots at another's efforts.

I wrote a review if you're interested. I went more in depth there. Yeah, there definitely wasn't a dearth of jump scares. Some worked; some didn't. The spirit camera is a really cool gimmick though.

I really liked the first one, and this one looked a lot more like a "normal" movie than the previous ones. I am pretty interested in seeing it. Just out of curiousity, does it explain where this spirit camera comes from? That was the only hole that the person at BD seemed to point out that would actually bother me. I mean, this house hasn't been abandoned forever. The camera couldn't have just made itself.

They didn't necessarily say where it originated, but they implied that the coven used it to see demons during rituals.
