the late Jess Franco

this looks like the place for me to vent. I am still mad. The day after Jess Franco died, he received no obituary in the New York Times. None. They had an obit for Ingrid Pitt when she died (probably to give them an excuse to show a photo of Ingrid Pitt in a low-cut dress.) Paul Naschy got one. Do you want to know who got an obit when Franco didn't? A hairdresser!

I wanted to ask them "Do you plan to print an obituary when Roger Corman dies? You do? Well, Franco was the world's Roger Corman. The difference between the two men is that
1. Franco directed more movies.
2. Franco was a better director.
