The Loner

It's pretty disturbing at times.

Ju-On: The Beginning of the End -- 5/10; Some of the scares were hilarious and made me pine for a full-on Ju-On comedy.

The Lost Are Damned -- 8.5/10; Infinitely more effective and poignant than A Tale of Two Sisters.

He tells an incredibly complex story through unconvential methods, and manages to draw the viewer into Geum-ja's quest for revenge.

Amazing visuals, lots of twists and enough moral ambiguity to really give you something to think about long after the credits roll. See it if you haven't.

This is the second Korean film I've seen and both were equally amazing in their story telling. Mr. Park Chan Wook definitely knows how to tell a story.

Over Your Dead Body -- 4.5/10; Forgettable, apart from the fetus-eating scene.

Tell Me Something -- 7/10; Cuts straight at the start, then veers off into basic thriller territory.

Wild Zero -- 2.5/10; I love how every other horror movie has a scene where someone follows a blood trail in a wide-open space, ignoring everything in front of them until they've come to close to the obvious danger.

The last one I saw was Silk (Guisi). It was a very good mixture of paranormal horror and science fiction. It could have benefited by having a bit more scares, but not bad at all. 7/10.
