Sean S. Cunningham Wes Craven George A. Romero Rob Zombie Tobe Hooper Mary Lambert William Castle Jim Gillespie Kevin Yagher Tod Browning lots of other really good ones, just current favorites.

that doesnt narrow the selection down much lol i like horror movies pre 60's also myself. like the Bat, Circus of Fear, and House on Haunted Hill. plus the classics, Nosforatu, Frankenstein, the Blob lol
