"ZMD: zombies of mass destruction" 7/10

Nothing new under the sun, but it was good. Nice effects.

The homos were a little annoying tho.

Without 3D. The theater running it here doesn't have that privilege.

Superb effects. Bland acting. Nice editing and cinematography. Good entertainer.

My Rating - * * *

Looked like a great one to see on the big screen. No 3D here in my town yet it's on the way apparently which I'm looking forward to.

Totally.

Some films are made to be seen on the big screen (for eg. Avatar), and this is one of them. Unless you have a projector or a 9.1 Home Theater at home with at least a 60 inch TV.

It'll be weird for me watching a fantasy movie without dudes like Lou Ferrigno in it :D

I saw the trailer at the theatre when I caught Shutter Island and fuck it looked cool.

Death Proof (2007). What a wonderful homage to grimy films of times past. This was simply a fun flick with that Tarantino flair. Where it is light on action it is heavy on style and incredible dialogue. Quentin also seem to to have to have a thing for restaurant scenes, and this flick is no different. The acting was appropriate and enjoyable, with enough leg to keep most boys happy. The story was perfect for effect. Loved the direction and camera holder. The final scene was a fun catharsis for a fun flick. Merci beaucoup.

Was at one of the local comic book stores the other day, and I seen a Stuntman Mike figure produced by NECA in their Cult Classics wave, Kurt Russel is one of my favorite actors and I really enjoyed seeing him as Stuntman Mike in Death Proof.

@Topic: My last seen movie was Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects (2005) Great movie deserves ****'s for gore and acting, also character traits, Otis is one of my favorite characters and it's a shame that Rufus (Tyler Mane) is killed at the beginning of the movie although I don't know if he's really in House of 1000 Corpses (2003)

Zombieland: First watch. Thought it was pretty good. Plenty of laughs and easy enough to watch. Felt like I was watching a bad episode of 'The Wonder Years' at times though...
