Night of the Living Dead is definitely my favourite. Shaun of the Dead was quite good as it's something different and new, and produced a few laughs too!

The French film Mutants offers a unique, personal spin on the zombie theme, tackling questions about what to do if a loved one were infected. The last half hour degrades a bit into run-of-the-mill zombie fighting, but the majority of the film is both suspenseful and heartbreaking, with some good body horror.

My favorite is George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead.

Every Romero film, but Day is my Favourite
Fido Dellamorte Dellamore (Cemetary Man) there are a few I've forgotten the names of - both British one is just the name of a kid - it's a zombie movie from the perspective of the zombie and another that is more of a 28 days later kind of deal (starts in a lab) |
