Don't Think Twice (2016)
I.M.D.B.
When a member of a popular New York City improv troupe gets a huge break, the rest of the group - all best friends - start to realize that not everyone is going to make it after all.

Well written and well performed and deals with its subject matter well while giving us an interesting look at improv. Has a few funny moments, although generally it's more amusing than funny. Worth a look.
7.5/10

Some gruesome parts. The story kept going around in circles. I found myself wishing they'd get to the point. It's on Netflix.

VHS - 7/10
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2105044/?ref_=nv_sr_1

The surrounding anthology could do a bit better, but the individual stories are worked out well. They also have a few good moments and jump scares.

The Ref - 8.5/10
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110955/

A great comedy in the vein of "The war of the roses", but with less physical comedy and - dare I say - sharper, wittier dialogue. Leary is good, but the arguing between Judy Davis and Kevin Spacey will have you in stitches. Spacey's line about nailing yourself to the cross is gold.

The Ref is a terrific movie. Great performances galore, and for me the best is given by Judy Davis. The Ref is one of my favorite Christmas comedies.

FINALLY got my hands on a copy of Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale. Watched it for the first time last night and looking forward to checking it out again soon. It had a few WTF moments and a pretty inventive plot.

Oh yah, I remember The Ref. That was a great movie. And I've heard nothing but good about Rare Exports.

Not a big fan of Denis Leary but Kevin Spacey's pretty good in general.
I'll check it out.

Brilliant film.
One of the better and more original (Christmas) horror movies of the last years.
I'd say it's also the best Krampus movie while not actually being about Krampus.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016)

If you were pleasantly surprised with Andre ovredal's TROLLHUNTER (2010), then you will regard him now as your new 'Master of Horror' - in his latest & first English-language film The Autopsy of Jane Doe! Because, in Jane Doe, this Norwegian director applied almost each & every great craftsmanship of horror film-making so skillfully that you are not only going to see just another good or passable horror flick set around an awesomely interesting premise, you'll going to experience it! Through the effective use of half light, sound & shadow this time he created an utterly eerie & unsettling atmosphere by revealing not too much but keep toying with the viewer's imagination from start to finish. And the perfect cast & characterization also helps to fuel the unease feeling of an unknown terror – an untouched & unidentified corpse of a beautiful young female; the local cops discovered the body from a shallow grave under the basement of a house-where everyone was massacred!

The best horror film of 2016 so far! A must watch.
