Batman&Robin

I guess this is more about the movie than the comic.
Too bad.

My friend has a real problem with the new "Batman Begins" or whatever it's called.
She thinks that since Batman (the comics) funny, the fact that they're turning Batman into this evil gothic movie is ridiculous.
For example. it was a joke that Batman and Robin were gay, which is obviously not happening in the new movie.

Idk, what do you think?

That's just what Batman became especially during 1988 when The Killing Joke came out. I prefer it to the "camp" Batman of the TV series and early comics. Tim Burton's Batman films still had a lot of elements of TV series' campness.

I haven't seen Batman Begins but I'm looking foward to seeing it
