It does if your goal is to compare other zombie comics to Walking Dead and dismiss them due to similar stories.

I'm sure there are going to be some similarities with Deadhattan and Walking Dead just as Walking Dead shares similarities with 28 Days Later, NOTLD, Dawn of the Dead, Day of The Dead, Shadows of the Dead and more. Zombie concepts all tend to have connections to one another.
