Evil (To Kako) - I'm really starting to think that the Europeans are going to be a horror powerhouse. This Greek zombie movie really impressed me. There was a good amount of tension and the gore scenes were outstanding. Still, the acting could have been much better. 6.5/10.

ah HA - Didn't know that about IMDB. Good to know. Thanks, NE.

And the only reason why I avoid Google Image Searching for movie posters (again, me being lazy) is that I'm usually already on IMDB and most of the time I have to resize the posters when I find them elsewhere. heh. :o

wanted to show my kid a sherlock holmes movie.
not a lot of action (for him) but he seemed to remain interested for the majority of the film.

No shit? I'd love to see that on the big screen, one of my favorites.

Last watched:

Sudden Impact

This one is the strongest of the sequels IMO. I do really like Magnum Force but I like the dark nasty mindedness of this one after the comic book styled flicks before it... its a return to the style of the original A really decent rape/revenge flick.

Just watched Get Smart.

Surprisingly refreshing and a lot of fun. Steve Carell can really do no wrong in my eyes, from ridiculous yelling to fantastic slapstick.

Lots of nods to the original series ("Missed it by that much!") which I definitely appreciate.

And Bill Murray had a great little cameo playing... Well, classic Bill Murray.

The movie went a little long and I got kinda bored half way through, but all in all it was just plain fun.

3.25/5

The plot didn't exactly play out like something you'd expect from the show.
I was pretty apprehensive, but it was actually a pretty decent re-imagining.

Just watched Diary of the Dead again for the first time in a while...love the gore effects in this one, but the overall film not all that great. Amish guy is awesome.

Also Harold and Kumar 2 again. Still prefer the first, but this one's cool too, not too much bad to say about it.
