I'm having doubts about these. I consider them serious horror.
They might have funny bits but I don't think they're funny movies.
But they're not horrifying to the more-than-average horror fan so I get your point.

I think the key to a horror-comedy is not the ratio of horror to comedy but whether comedy is present in the film's most horrific moments or with its most horrific characters. The curious thing about HCs is that the comic relief concept doesn't typically apply due to the overall high comedic value.

I wouldn't qualify Attack the Block as a comedy at all. I don't think the fact one or more characters crack jokes occasionally makes a movie a comedy. If that were true, 95% of all movies would be comedies.

I think a ratio of comedy needs to assessed. I disagree with a lot of the films on this list- like Ded Sno. Only seen it once, and loved it, but don't remember being particularly amused by it.

I laughed like hell at the cat attack scene in Let the Right One In, but I wouldn't call the movie a comedy.

For me it's more about the tone than about the ratio.
If characters keep making jokes during a dangerous situation I have trouble taking the movie serious. Or when the characters themselves are too silly.
Or the creatures. Or an event.
Sometimes one scene can change or even define the tone of a movie.
Dead Snow for example.
It's pretty over-the-top and then a guy gets bitten in his groin.
So to me that movie is amusing.
And it are amusing movies I would like to see on the list.
So maybe a HDC list and a non-HDC list?

About attack the block. Nick Frost is in it, that's what makes it a comedy. Not that I find him very funny myself, but without his character in it i'm sure it would've been just a horror movie. Personally, I found the movie annoying as hell and wanted everybody in it dead. Maybe except for the aliens.

Murder By Death - a film I saw six times in seven days IN THE THEATRE - is in no way a horror film. It's a mystery/comedy. It's a direct parody of specific film detectives.

I don't think I've seen Haunted Honeymoon, so I can't say. Is there supernatural content?

I saw Murder By Death for the first time when I was about 8 years old and I remeber the ending scaring the crap outa me. Hahaha. Still one of my favorite comedies. I was just in doubt as the scenery was pretty spooky.

Haunted Honeymoon might be more horror due to some "supernatural" elementents, but it's still very much pure comedy in my eyes. Give it a watch.
