Sisters remake?

Technically its not an upcoming, as I randomly saw it on the shelf at Hollywood Video last night, but I didnt know it had already been released.

I was definitely a fan of the original with Margot Kidder; has anyone had the opportunity to check this straight-to-DVD remake out? It honestly looks kind of iffy to me.

Haven't seen it yet myself, but I've heard some VERY bad things about it.

Thats what I was afraid of. The casting really didnt seem that appealing; guess Ill wait to catch it on TV at some point.

Douglas Buck (the director) does have some pretty powerful shit on his resume though...
