Fear Dot Com

Hey, I don't think I've ever come across a good review for this movie. Is it worth renting? I keep picking it up but at just under £4 a rental (approx $3) it seems a bit of a risk! Does it suck as much as it's supposed to?

I would say, yes. Just think the Ring, only not as creative, fun or scary. And if you didnt like the ring, then just imagine how bad this one is.

The most interesting part of fear.com is the use of vintage meets modern. The sets and decorations in all the scenes are all vintage and very lacking in technology. Yet the whole plot revolves around the idea of this web site killing people. Personally, I didn't hate it but wouldn't exactly recomend it, either.

I think I'll rent it one day. I like the original Ring but the remake was only so so, I liked the horse scene on the ferry but that's about it. I think Fear Dot Com is supposed to be at least visually good so it may not be so bad. Thanks.

I thought it sucked. Even Stephen Dorff couldn't save this movie.

This movie is a complete mess and totally isn't worth your time unless you're interested in seeing it for the sake of seeing one of the worst movies ever made.

It's boring, the plot doesn't make sense, the characters just seem to know what to do and how to do it to get things accomplished, and the gore factor is very weak.

You could spend better time running around with scissors in your hand.
