Rambo 5
Rejoice Mothman...;)
Sylvester Stallone really is doing another "Rambo" movie! According to Screen Daily, "Rambo 5" looks to be shot in Bulgaria, using a massive new shingle - that they're building 10 new stages for - in Sofia. It is apparently one of the first films booked in to use the new stages. Knowing it's going to be filmed in Bulgaria essentially voids most people's predictions that the next film would see Stallone back on home soil - USA.

He gets home and sees his family has been murdered by Bolgerians looking for Rambo and he goes there to whoop some mother effin ass!!!

March 22, 2008 A couple of months back "Rambo" producer Harvey Weinstein mentioned he'd love to do a fifth installment in which the iconic character returns home to America (the ending of the latest film seems to set that up). But when news came through last week that the fifth "Rambo" movie - seemingly on the fast track - would film in Bulgaria, most of us assumed that the plan of having Rambo on home soil had been abandoned for yet another away-from-home War tale. Seems not. Moviehole informs today that the next "Rambo" film will indeed be set in America - it's just more cost-effective to do it in Bulgaria. Moviehole says, "The street sets of Bulgaria that are getting the makeover, the same ones that were rented out and used in Van Damme’s The Shepherd, will be doubling for Rambo’s hometown, which is supposed to be somewhere in Arizona." In the past, Bulgaria has doubled as St. Petersburg, Russia (for "Hitman"), America (for "Lake Placid 2"), and Auschwitz (for "The Grey Zone"), for example. The terrain mostly plays home to a lot of those direct-to-DVD movies though - the ones featuring action lads such as Steven Seagal and Wesley Snipes. Rejoice Rambo fans!:D

The plot is set in the US, only shooting will be done in Bulgaria...because its cheaper there.

UPDATE!!!
I guess stallone threw the old idea out the window. This one's way better. Apparently it was the original script for Rambo before he changed it. from IMDB "Rumors say the script will follow the original one written by Stallone for Rambo (2008), in which Rambo finds out he has a daughter and she has been kidnapped by a hostile cult, from which Rambo must rescue her." kidnapped by a hostile cult? you know this will be good.
