Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

Saw it yesterday. Not too bad. Better than the second, and on par with the first IMO. Surprisingly engaging story, little light on action. Lucian was my favorite character to come from the first two films, and this is his (and Viktor's) story. Still a little too Euro-trash for my liking. If a person didn't like the first two films, this won't change their minds, but not a let down for those that did like them.

I saw it Friday night. I liked it a lot better than the second movie. Lucian is also my favorite character.

Seeing it on Wednesday, I (unlike most horror review sites) loved the first 2 so looking forward to this one immensely.

Warning: contains spoilers.

I saw this last night, and i liked it the best out of the three movies. Viktor was my favourite character. Bill nighy is a great actor, i have seen a number of his films. The latest being Valkyrie, which made it even more interesting to watch him play Victor again. I liked the way the film was shot all dark and gothic, which really suited the castle scenes, and made for great atmosphere. I don't know if it is just me, but it seemed to be darker in overall colour than the other films? Anyway, i think i will buy it, when it comes to dvd.

Just got back from the cinema, throughly enjoyed the film. Ok so it aint going to win any Oscars but frankly who cares, I was entertained for 90 minutes so I'm happy.

First. let me say I like the "Underworld" movies, Their fun "leave your brain at the door"type of films. and I did enjoy "Rise Of The Lycans". Now having said that. I will say that this one is probably my least favorite of the series for a couple of reasons. 1) I missed Kate Beckinsale I like her and her character.
2) Since this film is a prequel, there are no real surprises. You know whats going to happen to the main characters if you have seen the other films. But it was still nice to see all the details filled in. Overall, it was a fun movie and I hope they make a part 4.
