I know the general concensus is that the remake will be horrible but did you see who's directing it!? Halloween: Retribution looks to be the next one (the remake) and it's directed by Takishi Miike! I went from not happy to super psyched the second I read that...

I think there's a syndrome sweeping horrorland - the "FoMO" phenomenon!

I started reading that thing because I wanted to know what it said. I was afraid other people would know and I wouldn't and I'd miss out on something. Then I realized it was really long and really late and I'd be missing out on sleep, which is more important to me, so I stopped.

You're right. We watch crap because other people are discussing it and we need to be in on it.

Check-out the Halloween 9 thread on here. Someone has a link to some info on the movie. I'm told that the next Halloween sequel is the remake. So #9=Remake. Stupied isn't it?

Got this from Halloweenmovies.com

November 11, 2005

In the wake of the recent terrorist bombings in Jordan, we are absolutely devastated to confirm the passing of Moustapha Akkad and his daughter, Rima Akkad Monla.

For those who don't know Moustapha Akkad was the major producer of the Halloween series.

So b/c of his death it is possible that there will not be anymore Halloween's, not even a remake.

This is a terrible tragity, and I personly offer my prayers to the family.
