Nightmares and Dreamscapes

I'm thinking about buying this set. It's reasonably cheap, and kind of a nice little anthology of short films. I didn't catch any of them on TV. Are they good?

Also, when you post your review, also state whether you read the Stephen King novel or not.

I wouldn't call it horror, more... wierd-for-the-sake-of-being-wierd, or sci-fi in most cases. I was expecting something too similiar to Masters of Horror, and that sort of lowered my thoughts on the series. I watched the first four episode or so, and my favourite was the second episode. I can't comment beyond that.

For the price, I'd say it's worth it. It's only about 30$ CAN here.

None of them are really scarey except for the first one, but overall they are very well done, and great viewings. Quite a few of them are really chilling, if you watch the one with the documentary maker, I forget what its called, you will see what I mean.
