I don't have a favorite, there are just too many good ones. Versus, Battle Royale, R-Point, 2LDK, Tale of Two Sisters... I wish I could pick a decisive favorite but alas I cannot.

Look 4 threads down, for christ sake!!!! Fuck it... 1. Ju-on Because Shimizu knows how to make serious scares. Thatīs his talent. Ju-on is one creepy idea after another, and out of those ideas a movie is born. Hail!! 2. A tale of two sisters. Masterfully directed and simply brilliant all the way around. 3. Kairo. Has a few really effective scares and a far out story. 3. One missed call Not original, but in my eyes Miikeīs best. Yes, screw Audition. 4. Uzumaki. David Lynch on mushrooms.

From what I've seen so far, I'd have to say that A Tale of Two Sisters is probably my favorite. The Eye, Ju-On, and Dark Water are others that I really enjoyed. In fact, I just ordered all of them on eBay a few minutes ago.
