Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I liked it, but it wasn't as good as the first one IMO. There were a few scenes that went on too long; they could have cut them in half and made the movie flow better. I also thought that Johnny Depp's character was a little "overdone" (if there is such a term) this time; somebody needed to tone him down a little.

I was really impressed with the special effects. They were pitch perfect for the movie...not too much, just enough. I really liked the scenes with Davy Jones/his crew and the Kraken. All in all, it wasn't a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Huh, I thought that one looked like it might not be too bad. I'll still probably check it out though...

That's what I thought going into the movie. Didn't come out with the same opinion that I did going in though.

C.H.U.D. 2: Bud the CHUD

Silly monster comedy from the dreaded 80's...strangely hypnotic. It can't be called a "bad movie" because no one involved was taking it seriously. There is a certain pervasive dullness to it, but a lively synth musical score keeps it moving. Most everyone (including Gerrit Graham as the title character) is hamming it up pretty good!

Ultraviolet

Ug, what a waste of time. Horrible plot that made no sence, terrible actors spouting awful dialogue...Im running out of adjectives here. Visually it wasnt too bad, but even that got old fast. Worst movie Ive seen in a long time.
