Just a curious random thought: can a person be haunted AND possessed?

Not that the ghost in your haunted house possesses you; but you are possessed by a demon and - in additional to that - taunted / harassed by a separate & secondary malevolent spirit or ghost while being possessed?

Would the demon retaliate against the ghost? Would he think that was terribly funny and ironic? Can demons and ghosts "double dip" on the same person?

(wonderful stuff this vodka and coffee )

Well, I can think of films that have both concepts in them but none that have both concepts competing or conflicting with each other... that would be a bizarre flick...

...anyone know of any?

I think this scenario can happen, and needs to happen. For some reason, I had something like the ending of Prometheus in mind.

Last night I'm watching disc 2 of 100 Years of Horror, the section on werewolves. Christopher Lee says "There's only one werewolf movie I've been in, The Howling II. The less said about that, the better." Made me laugh. At least he knows what a stinker it is!

I wonder if there is a 'typical point' at which the actors / crew know for certain what they're making is trash. Is it typically during production? or do they have to find out in the theaters like everyone else?

I also wonder how many times it's a 180º - the crew thinks it's awesome and it's panned or they think it's trash and it goes up for an oscar.

I'm not an expert... but an educated guess is Christopher Lee will read the script, know his payment, the film budget, what other actors are in it, and what other films the director and production company has made. And by that, he'd know if it's likely to be trash. Still, even if the budget is small and the past directors work has been poor, there's always a small chance it will be a good film. But it's hard to get past a weak script.

I think every actor has one bad movie that they've done

That's good stuff. But as you say there would always some chance involved.

What I'm wondering about is the point beyond the speculation of script, money, cast, & crew when the actors know - with metaphysical certainty - that the film they're in is a festering pile of road-kill.

I'm sure it's different for each individual actor and film but - with so many films out there - might there be a "typical point" at which this epiphany occurs for the bulk of actors on the majority of films?

If there is a way to figure a "typical point", I'm missing it.
