Does an all day marathon of "Scooby-Doo Where Are You" count as classic horror?
If not I also watched "The Haunting" And "The Legend Of Hell House"

Hah- Trog is such an awful movie. I thought so even as a kid when I saw it at the drive-in. Some cool footage swiped from a Harryhausen film though.

I can still hear Joan Crawford muttering "Let me get my gun."

I have NEVER understood the appeal of Scooby Doo. Can somebody explain it to me,other thansaying "it's just cool" and the like? It has the worst animation ever, the characters are moronic, there is only ONE plot repeated over and over... why does ANYONE watch this? Is it a teletubbies kind of hypnotic experience?

Scooby Doo is appealing because it's the only show written with Mad Libs.
Shaggy is eating (food) as Thelma, Fred and Daphne talk about going to (place for relaxation). They arrive and find out that (place) has been beset (monster) from (a suspicious person). Shaggy and Scooby joke about leaving. Fred decides that it's time to investigate (place) to find out about the (monster). After interviewing the locals and meeting another less suspicious person, Fred and Thelma set up a trap. Scooby and Shaggy try to avoid (monster) but end up in the fray. (Monster) leaves behind (ridiculous prop). Thelma pieces it together and reveals that (suspicious person) was trying to get people away because of (some way in which the location is lucrative). Scooby and Shaggy remind everyone that they're stoned with silly antics. Everybody laughs.
