Oh okay I get it now. On the ID show they actually said she got the role so that's why I was confused.

ID doesn't always get their facts right about murders just so you know. I mean their shows are more about entertainment than being actual crime documentaries.

But I really don't understand how saying she got the role rather than say she was preparing to audition for the role would change things. According to them the obsessed fan came to her house earlier that day and got an autograph from her butt she was busy and didn't really like the idea of him being there so she sent him away and then he came back later that day and shot her. That's what the show on ID said.

You know an ID show I really like? Deadly Women. Or as I like to call it "Psycho Bitches From Hell!"

Deadly Women is pretty cool. Sometimes they have gotten pretty hardcore. My favorites are Web of Lies and your worst nightmare.
I was just thinking it's interesting how in that episode about the actress getting killed, they used John Lennon's death as an example of celebrity stalkers killing the celebrities they idolize. Just like Mark David Chapman dead, by approaching Lennon earlier in the day and asking for an autograph, which he received, that is exactly how the actresses killer acted. I hate to keep referring to her as the actress but I can't remember her name. |

See no evil is another good one I forgot about where they use surveillance cameras to solve cases. At the end of the month there is going to be a new show called body cam where they show dangerous situations cops were in where they caught it on camera. That should be pretty nice as well.

One I really liked is The Homicide Hunter. I bet Joe Kenda is a cool guy in real life who knows his shit.

Yeah that's a good one but I feel like he's holding back a lot. You can't tell me all that time working for homicide in Colorado Springs he never killed anyone. He has never talked about killing anyone on the show. It could be a mental block or just something he prefers not to talk about. When I was in college I took a criminal justice class which was taught by a former Sergeant or Lieutenant, I can't remember, from Cincinnati. The very first thing on the first day he said after introducing himself was to not ask him if he ever killed anyone. But even then aside from killing, I still feel like he's holding back some pretty juicy stories. For example, he works for the Colorado Springs Police Department and the whole black klansman incident takes place in Colorado Springs around the time he would have been a rookie. I would love to hear his account of that.

I feel kind of sorry for cops. It's a very thankless job and you put yourself at risk every day trying to protect the peace and people really seem to hate cops.

I respect the cops who do their jobs right but otherwise, the corrupt ones get absolutely no sympathy from me.
